The AMIRA Gold Processing Technology project is a collaborative industry funded project which has operated since 1984. The project has covered a wide range of topics within the general area of gold ore processing and environmental management of tailings. The project is based at Curtin University (Perth, Western Australia).

This website is the access portal for project information that is available to companies that sponsored the P420D project (2009-2012), but did not continue their sponsorship in the P420E cycle of the project (2013-2016). The companies are Ausenco and Gold Fields. Employees of these companies are eligible to register for this website.


Employees of companies which are sponsoring the continuing project (P420E), which includes AngloGold Ashanti, Australian Gold Reagents, Barrick Gold, Gekko Systems, Harmony Gold, Kemix, Magotteaux, Newcrest Mining, Newmont Mining, Orica Australia, Randgold, St Barbara and Tenova (Bateman) should access the project information via the current Goldknowledge website.
